The NMMA Government Relations department is the hub for advocacy work on behalf of the recreational boating industry. Through its Government Relations staff, NMMA works to educate Congress and state-level officials about issues that affect the marine industry. NMMA West California Advisory Board
The NMMA West California Advisory Board is a group representing a cross-section of the marine industry in the state. The board meets quarterly, usually by one meeting in NorCal and one meeting in SoCal, to discuss issues affecting California businesses. It also advises NMMA West on what functions to pursue including legislation, conference topics, and member meetings, as well as how the association can promote NMMA programs.
