Engine Emission Regulations

In April 2011 Environment Canada introduced the Marine Spark-Ignition Engine, Vessel and Off-Road Recreational Vehicle Emission Regulations. These regulations apply to all manufacturers, dealers and distributors importing engines into Canada. For example, if you are a dealer who imports engines (loose or as a package with a boat) from outside Canada, you must meet the new regulations.
